Back in 2003, when AsianAvenue was still cool, and Facebook didn't exist my AsianAvenue page went through a lot of changes.
One particular generation of my pages was a set of merged photographs from the web. Each set was supposed to convey the emotion I had been feeling at the time of inception. It was both a way for me to vent and to express myself. The teenage years were filled with lots of melodrama, afterall. Not to say the drama really stops.
These pages were intentionally minimalist, with the single photomerged image on a coloured background and a link to the guestbook. I have taken the photomerged images and laid them all side by side in one giant summary of all the emotions that I produced that year (minus one, for symmetry).
Most of the images used in those projects were Googled. I apologize for any copyright infringement. Please don't sue me.
In addition to the digitally manipulated images, each emotion contained one or more lyrical excerpts. The sources are as follows, and all lyrics remain copyrighted under their original authors:
